Welcome! My name is Tom Mahoney and I am the Network Manager at Franklin & Marshall College - a liberal arts college in Pennsyvania.

Some folks have accused me of being at Franklin and Marshall since Old Main was built. This isn't quite true, but I've been here since before the days of the 128K Macintosh and I've been with the network since it was only a few wires high.

If you happen to be involved in E-commerce, you might be interested in this link to Merchant 911. It's a fraud prevention site that I put together. I never expected it to amount to much but I was SOOOO wrong. We've got over 3700 members as of June, 2008.

Along with that whole fraud prevention thing, I partnered up with two other professionals and authored an e-learning course.  You can take a look here.

  I was Keeper of the Drum and lead singer for Lenape Red Thunder, a Native American drum group. I'm sorry to say that the group has disbanded and the website is down.

  I have some pictures of me here. I admit - most of them are a few years old - OK, they were taken in the late '90's.  Nothing more current at  the moment except that ugly thing over at preventchargebacks.com!

I've written a few short stories, most of them are attempts at humor. Here's some of my stories. 

I'm active in Toastmasters here at F&M.  In fact, I'm a founding member of our club.  I maintain their website, currently hold the ACB and CL designations and am serving this year as the VP, Education.  I've also been VP, Public Relations and President.
